Characteristics: Idaho fescue is a densely tufted perennial bunch grass.Leaves are fine textured and may have a silvery sheen. Leaf blades may grow to a foot in height while flower stems may reach two feet.
Cultivation: Idaho fescue will grow in fun sun to part shade and is quite drought tolerant once established.
Native Range: Western United States
Landscape Uses: Woodland garden or feature in perennial garden, deer resistant garden. informal lawn or ornamental feature.
