Characteristics: Orange Mountain Daisy, also known as Owl's Claws is a perennial member of the sunflower family with large 2 inch yellow to orange flowers borne in loose clusters on erect stems with bright green leaves. Plants grow to a height to two feet. In the wild this species is often found in mountain meadows.
Cultivation: Grows in full sun to part shade in moderately moist soil.
Native Range: Western United States.
Landscape Uses: Perennial garden, butterfly garden. Attracts both bees and butterflies.
